He was a kind bear

perhaps a little simple

but the world is made of

simple Poohs

gloomy Eeyore’s

bouncy Tiggers

frightened Piglets

industrious Gophers

pompous Owls

nurturing Kangas

adventurous Roos

egotistical Rabbits

and kind Christopher Robins

That’s what makes a world,

each has a unique gift to offer

to make it an interesting story

to be lived out

in our own hundred-acre wood
